The following notices provide a simple overview of what happens to your personal data when you use our website. Personal data is any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person.
Who is the controller of data processing on this website?
The controller of data processing on this website is:

What data do we process, and how?
We process all personal data that you or third parties provide to us. This may be, for example, data that you enter directly into our website (such as name and email address to sign up for the newsletter) or send us by email.
Our IT system also automatically processes so-called metadata when you visit our website, namely your current IP address, the Internet browser used, the operating system used and the time of the page request.
What do we use your data for? Do we share it?
Your metadata enable us to provide the website on your end device without errors and in line with your needs.
We use the data collected during registration for the newsletter (name, email address and consent or opt-out declaration) for its personalized dispatch or its suppression in the event of an opt-out.
Data that you communicate to us by email or by other means, or that are communicated to us by a third party, are used by us in accordance with the purpose apparent from the respective circumstances.
We do not use personal data for automated decision-making (including profiling).
Personal data will only be disclosed to third parties if and to the extent that this is necessary due to technical circumstances (e.g. processing by or disclosure to the hosting service provider of our website, the operators of cloud-based IT systems used by us or a customer relationship management tool) or to the extent that the purpose apparent from the respective circumstances requires disclosure. Furthermore, disclosure may also be necessary in individual cases due to a legal or contractual obligation or an official or judicial order.
Legal Basis
Where you have consented to data processing (either explicitly, for example by confirming the newsletter order, or implicitly by sending data by email or other means), we process your personal data on the basis of point (a) of art. 6 (1) GDPR.
Data processing necessary for the performance of a contract to which you are a party or for the implementation of pre-contractual measures is carried out on the basis of point (b) of art. 6 (1) GDPR; data processing necessary for compliance with a legal obligation to which we are subject is carried out on the basis of point (c) of art. 6 (1) GDPR. The processing of metadata is not subject to such obligation; the processing of data for the dispatch of the newsletter is subject to such obligation only as regards the consent or opt-out declaration; however, it may exist in the case of other provision of personal data.
The automatic processing of metadata generated during your visit of our website serves to ensure the adequate and accessible display of the website on your end device and is therefore based on a legitimate interest pursuant to point (f) of art. 6 (1) GDPR.
Storage Period
Your personal data will be stored until the purpose or any technical or legal requirements for data processing no longer apply. If you assert a legitimate request for deletion or revoke your necessary consent for data processing, your data will no longer be processed unless we have other legally permissible reasons for storing your personal data (e.g. retention periods under tax or commercial law); in the latter case, the data will be processed only as long as these reasons apply.
What are your rights?
You have a right of access to your personal data processed by us as well as the right to rectification or erasure or to restriction of processing. You have a right to object to processing as well as a right to data portability.
Where the processing is based on point (a) of art. 6 (1) GDPR, you have the right to withdraw consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing based on consent before its withdrawal. You have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority
