Enapter is a manufacturer of electrolysers for the production of green hydrogen. Our mission is to make green hydrogen affordable and accessible to all. We aim to reduce the cost of water electrolysis so that hydrogen is competitive with fossil fuels. This way, our company contributes to mitigating climate change. Additionally, Enapter aspires to lead by example on sustainable industrial production with a concept that we call \u201cLife Cycle Impact Zero\u201d, aimed at minimising our environmental impact on people and the planet.\r\n\r\nAt Enapter, we recognise the importance of environmental responsibility and are committed to minimising our impact on the environment. This environmental policy outlines our commitment to environmental stewardship and provides a framework for our company\u2019s operations and decision-making processes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

1. We consume energy<\/strong> responsibly and produce or source it as much as possible from local renewable sources. We encourage our employees to adopt energy-saving practices.<\/span><\/div>\n\n\n\n
2. Keeping in mind cost, quality and availability, we strive to purchase<\/strong> sustainable products that are long-lasting, minimise the use of natural resources, packaging, toxic materials and waste, are easy to recycle, and are purchased locally to minimise transportation. We consider sustainability criteria when selecting suppliers and encourage them to improve their environmental sustainability.<\/span><\/div>\n\n\n\n
3. We minimise waste<\/strong> production, track our waste across our supply chain, constantly improve our recycling rate, avoid emissions to air, soil and water, and dispose of our waste in compliance with the applicable legislation.<\/span><\/div>\n\n\n\n
4. We pay particular attention to how we handle hazardous substances<\/strong> and ensure the safe management of chemicals, in line with all applicable regulations, in order to protect the health of our employees, as well as public health and the environment at large. We aim to minimise the use of hazardous substances and prioritise the use of environmentally friendly materials in our manufacturing processes.<\/span><\/div>\n\n\n\n
5. We monitor our water<\/strong> consumption closely and strive to optimise its responsible usage, particularly in water-scarce areas.<\/span><\/div>\n\n\n\n
6. We aim to assess and manage the potential impacts of our activities on local ecosystems, striving to conserve biodiversity<\/strong>, protect endangered species and preserve natural habitats.<\/span><\/div>\n\n\n\n
7. We optimise the way we transport<\/strong> people and products, whether it is business travels, daily commuting, inbound logistics, product delivery or service shipments, with a view to reducing the carbon footprint of transport to a minimum.<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div><\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

8. We measure Enapter\u2019s Corporate Carbon Footprint<\/strong> (Scope 1, 2 and 3) on a yearly basis, analyse its evolution, identify main drivers and take action to reduce it in proportion to our revenues. In line with our Life Cycle Impact Zero project, we report particularly exhaustively on our Scope 3 emissions with a view to minimise our overall impact.<\/span><\/div>\n\n\n\n
9. We integrate environmental considerations into the design, development and manufacturing of our products. By conducting lifecycle assessments<\/strong>, we identify and mitigate potential environmental impacts associated with our products throughout their entire lifespan.<\/span><\/div>\n\n\n\n
10. We are progressively setting up an Environmental Management System<\/strong> in order to constantly monitor, regularly evaluate and incrementally improve our sustainability.<\/span><\/div>\n\n\n\n
11. We engage with our stakeholders<\/strong> \u2013 in particular our employees, shareholders, customers, and suppliers \u2013 to gather their valuable feedback on our environmental performance. We document and report regularly and transparently on our progress, both internally and externally, through yearly reports and social media channels.<\/span><\/div>\n\n\n\n
12. In line with circular economy<\/strong> principles, we plan to set up a disassembly line to re-use, repair and recycle as many of our product components as possible at their end of life, thereby minimising our reliance on natural resources.<\/span><\/div>\n\n\n\n
13. We allocate sufficient human and financial resources<\/strong> to implement these actions as a matter of priority for our company.<\/span><\/div>\n\n\n\n
14. We observe and comply<\/strong> \u2013 locally, nationally and internationally \u2013 with the environmental laws and regulations of all countries in which we operate.<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div><\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
